Circle W Sports Revamps PIAA District IV Website With Simplified, User-Friendly Design
Published on August 24, 2026WELLSBORO, PA - Circle W Sports has completed a major redesign of the PIAA District IV website, introducing a cleaner, simplified experience designed to make it easier for student-athletes, coaches, administrators, media members and fans to find the information they need.
The revamped website represents a significant departure from the previous version, with Circle W Sports focusing heavily on usability and reducing unnecessary complexity throughout the site.
Rather than simply giving the website a new look, Circle W Sports approached the project by reconsidering how visitors navigate District IV's extensive collection of sports information. Schedules, standings, statistics, rankings, tournament information, forms and other frequently accessed resources have been reorganized to make them easier to locate and use.
"Our biggest goal with this redesign was simplicity," said Circle W Sports owner Ed Weaver. "District IV has a tremendous amount of information that needs to be available throughout the school year, but having that much content doesn't mean the website needs to feel complicated. We drastically simplified the site, cut down on the clutter and tried to make getting from Point A to Point B as quick and easy as possible."
The new design places a greater emphasis on individual sports, giving visitors a more direct path to the information they are most likely looking for. Navigation and page layouts have been streamlined across the site while maintaining access to the resources schools, coaches and fans have come to rely on.
Mobile usability was also an important part of the project. With an increasing number of visitors accessing schedules, scores, standings and postseason information from their phones, the redesigned site provides a cleaner experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
"We didn't want visitors to have to think about where something might be," Weaver said. "Whether you're a coach looking for a form, a parent checking a schedule or a fan trying to find standings or playoff information, the website should help you get there quickly. That's really what drove every decision we made."
The redesign continues Circle W Sports' longstanding work with PIAA District IV and its member schools. Based in Wellsboro, Circle W Sports specializes in athletic websites, statistics, digital platforms and technology solutions for high school athletic programs, organizations and associations.
"We're fortunate to work with District IV and so many of its schools and athletic programs," Weaver added. "This website is an important resource for high school sports throughout our area, and we wanted to give District IV a platform that's modern, straightforward and, most importantly, easy for everyone to use."
The revamped PIAA District IV website is now live.
