Circle W Sports and LLhoops Launch Mobile App

March 26, 2024

Wellsboro, PA - Circle W Sports and LLhoops have launched the LLhoops mobile app for both the iOS and Google Play App Stores.

The app, which pairs with the updated design released earlier this year by Circle W Sports, features news, scores, up-to-date standings and team info that the website does, but in the palm of your hand.

"The staff at LLhoops.com is both pleased and excited announce the launch of its new mobile app that is now available for download," said owner Dell Jackson. "The site's latest innovation, with much needed and deserved thanks to Ed Weaver at Circle W Sports' tireless work in ultimately getting this project off the ground, takes the familiar interface of the already existing LLhoops.com website and packages everything together in one easy to use app that can now be served directly onto the user’s phone. The application is free and downloadable in the App Store by searching for LLhoops. The existing website will remain the same with all the familiar stories, scores, schedules, beats etc, but all that same information is now easier and quicker to view through the app. This is another first for LLhoops!"

About LLhoops

LLhoops.com has been a source for information on the Lancaster-Lebanon League since 2000. LLhoops is the brainchild of Dell Jackson. Jackson coached (Penn Manor / Donegal) and played in the LL (Annville-Cleona '75). LLhoops was the first local site to post scores online on game day, posting digital pics, updating standings, keeping and posting LL averages online, and more. LLhoops has been recognized by various sources as credentialed media covering PA High School hoops (Lancaster–Lebanon League, District 3 PIAA, PIAA, and has been involved in selection of the ALL-PA teams).

About Circle W Sports

Circle W Sports is a start-up sports information technology company founded in Wellsboro, PA by Ed Weaver. Circle W Sports aims to provide school districts, club/travel teams, and sports organizations with an online presence to promote their business, athletic programs, and student-athletes. Since 2006 (unofficially), Circle W Sports has been promoting student-athletes and delivering up-to-date sports information on our family of websites and to the media.

"Building the LLhoops app unveils our new product line for Circle W Sports," owner Ed Weaver said. "We jumped at the opportunity when Dell was thinking over the idea and we told him we had the tools for the job. Last year we launched our app for PerformanceTracker, for real-time combine data collection, but the LLhoops app brings a whole new line to the Circle W Sports offering. Since we launched our platform this has always been the ultimate goal, be able to provide a good mobile experience, both in-browser and in traditional native apps. It starts with our data structure. The same data built into every Circle W Sports website is the same data consumed by our mobile apps. We're excited about our first app release and can't wait to see where this takes us."

Circle W Sports' mobile apps can be used in conjunction with a Circle W Sports team, athletic department, or organization website, or on their own.
