July 22, 2019

Wellsboro, PA & Schuylkill Haven, PA - The Circle W Sports team is expanding into District 11 as it welcomes Schuylkill Haven to its growing family.

Circle W Sports, LLC is an online service that provides a platform for high school teams and sports organizations to promote coaches, programs, and student-athletes.

The Hurricanes are coming off a 7-4 2018 campaign which saw them crowned the Schuykill County Conference Division 2 champions.

"Circle W Sports is a great company," said Hurricane head coach Mike Farr. "Ed is very passionate about creating the best product for our football program. He's a sports enthusiast. The entire experience with Circle W Sports was exceptional and I highly recommend his services."

Circle W Sports found its beginnings in 2006 when owner Ed Weaver launched WellsboroFootball.com, the flagship website promoting the Wellsboro Hornet Football team. The organization provides the latest up-to-date scores, statistics, and coverage in this region. Since 2006, WellsboroFootball.com has recorded over a half million page views and has spawned other websites including WellsboroAthletics.com, WellsboroBaseball.com, WellsboroBasketball.com, WellsboroXC.com, WellsboroGolf.com, WellsboroSoccer.com, WellsboroSoftball.com, and WellsboroSwimming.com. Each website provides player information, rosters, schedules, statistics, and history about each Wellsboro team.

Circle W Sports also runs and manages websites for PIAA District IV, the Northern Tier League, the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame, Vaportrail 24/7, and the PIAA District 4 Football Coaches Association, provides statistical data to Pennsylvania Football News, WesternPAFootball.net, Home Page Sports, Fox Sports Williamsport, and the Valley Sports Report, and has launched websites for Athens Foootball, Loyalsock Football, Southern Columbia Football, Selinsgrove Football, Bucktail Football, Midd-West Football, Lewisburg Football, Ligonier Valley Football, and the Canton Warriors, Selinsgrove Seals, and Loyalsock Lancers Athletic Departments.

"2019 has been a big year for Circle W Sports and we couldn't be happier to add Schuylkill Haven to our team," said owner Ed Weaver. "Earlier this season we expanded to Western PA and now were are extending further into Eastern PA and proving our platform can work everywhere. When we first met Coach Farr earlier this summer at the Big 33 game in Harrisburg we had a really great conversation, then when he let me know that the Hurricanes were officially joining I was ecstatic. We can't wait to launch the site for the former state champs before the season starts."
