Midd-West Football to join with Circle W Sports in the fall
March 21, 2019Wellsboro, PA & Middleburg, PA - Circle W Sports, the new name in the game for High School sports, is excited to announce a new partnership with the Midd-West Football team.
The partnership promises to offer the program a chance to track program history, produce current information for the team, including rosters and schedules, and allow students to work with Circle W Sports' staff of professional writers and photographers.
Midd-West is a second-year program and Circle W Sports will provide it with a platform to keep records, rosters, and program history in one easy to find place. Along with giving Midd-West football a place to call home, Circle W Sports’ staff will work to keep photos and stories updated.
"The Midd-West Mustangs Football Program is excited about our partnership with Circle W Sports," said head coach Brad Hatter. "Ours is an online world and as a relatively new program we are understanding the importance of having a web presence where people can check out stats, news articles, Quarterback Club, and general information about our program but more importantly our student athletes. As a coach, I am excited about the exposure our student athletes will receive to various colleges and universities. This will be a tremendous help to those student athletes who have aspirations of playing at the next level.
"Ed was very helpful and clear in his presentation and walked us through the steps of getting started as well as the ways in which the cost is offset through fundraising/sponsorship of local businesses. We are looking forward to seeing how this will help us to continue to grow our program."
Circle W Sports found its beginnings in 2006 when owner Ed Weaver launched WellsboroFootball.com, the flagship website promoting the Wellsboro Hornet Football team. The organization provides the latest up-to-date scores, statistics, and coverage in this region. Since 2006, WellsboroFootball.com has recorded over a half million page views and has spawned other websites including WellsboroAthletics.com, WellsboroBaseball.com, WellsboroBasketball.com, WellsboroXC.com, WellsboroGolf.com, WellsboroSoccer.com, WellsboroSoftball.com, and WellsboroSwimming.com. Each website provides player information, rosters, schedules, statistics, and history about each Wellsboro team.
Circle W Sports also runs and manages websites for PIAA District IV, the Northern Tier League, the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame, Vaportrail 24/7, and the PIAA District 4 Football Coaches Association, provides statistical data to Pennsylvania Football News, WesternPAFootball.net, EasternPAFootball.com, Home Page Sports, Fox Sports Williamsport, and the Valley Sports Report, and has launched websites for Athens Foootball, Loyalsock Football, Southern Columbia Football, and Selinsgrove Football.
"We plan to cover important dates for the program that would include 'Senior Night', letter of intent signings, and rivalry games," Managing Editor Brett R. Crossley said. "We will also give students a chance to take photos of the team to keep the site current and fresh for players, coaches, and fans."
"Coach Hatter reached out to us last year during their inaugural season and we reconnected the beginning of March to fully demonstrate the power of the Circle W Sports platform," owner Ed Weaver said. "We're very pleased Coach Hatter reached back out to us saying the Mustangs wanted to join the platform in just their second year playing. We're going to provide Midd-West the best platform there is to help their blossoming football community stay up to date with the team, as well as past alumni from the school."
