Circle W Sports is a sports information-technology company founded in Wellsboro, PA aimed at providing
better, easier, and well-designed systems for athletic directors, teams and/or league officials.
Circle W Sports was created by - and our employees are - former athletes, coaches, and athletic directors
that know the "ins & outs" of high school sports and how good technology can make everyone's job easier.

Our Mission

Circle W Sports' mission is to develop a software platform for school districts and teams to use up-to-date technology,
in both the web and mobile arenas, to promote their athletic programs and student-athletes with both current and historical information.

Circle W Sports began unofficially in August 2006, when owner Ed Weaver began coaching football at Wellsboro Area High School. Ed always wanted the chance to view his season statistics, but did not have the option. As a way of giving back, Ed hoped to get recognition for the Wellsboro Football program by making statistics, scores, and information available to the local community, college recruiters, and football fans throughout the world.

After the success of WellsboroFootball.com, WellsboroAthletics.com was started in August of 2010 to capitalize off that success and expand to cover all sports in the Wellsboro Area School District.
